Most of the settings on this page are optional. For a basic account set up, Timewarp recommends the following:

    • Mail account: give this mail account setting a meaningful name to help distinguish between it and other mail account settings you may create.
    • Name: this is where you type the name that people see when you send an email to them.
    • E-mail address: eg: johnsmith@timewarpuk.net
    • Reply address: this is only necessary if your return address is different to your E-mail address. For a standard Timewarp mail account, the settings are not different, hence a Reply address is not necessary.
    • Include this account when doing a full Send and Receive - ticked

  29. Click the Servers tab

    properties, servers

  30. Ensure the settings on this Servers tab are as follows:
    • Outgoing mail (SMTP): mail.timewarp.co.uk
    • Incoming mail (POP3): mail.timewarp.co.uk
    • Account name: eg: johnsmith.timewarpuk.net
    • Password: ********
    • Log on using Secure Password Authentication - unticked
    • My server requires authentication - unticked.

  31. Click OK
  32. Click Close
