- From your desktop, double click My Computer
- Double click Dial-Up Networking
- Click your Timewarp Dial-Up Networking connection setting
- Click the File menu
- Click Properties

- Ensure Use area code and Dialing Properties is ticked,
you can have this unticked but the dial-up number must then be
entered in full.
- Click the Server Types tab

- Ensure Type of Dial-Up Server is PPP: Internet, Windows NT
Server, Windows 98
- Ensure Log on to network is not ticked
- Ensure NetBEUI is not ticked
- Ensure IPX/SPX Compatible is not ticked
- Click TCP/IP Settings...

- Select Server assigned name server addresses (however
you can enter the name servers as below)
- Within the Primary DNS box, type 217.149.108.10
- Within the Secondary DNS box, type 217.149.108.11
- Click OK
- Click the Scripting tab

We suggest not using scripting

Your Windows 98 based computer now has a Dial-Up Networking
connection setting configured for connecting to Timewarp. To
connect now...
- Within the Dial-Up Networking window, double click on your Timewarp
Dial-Up Networking connection setting

- Within the User name box, type your username
- Within the Password box, type your password
Your username and password are case sensitive - your username
will always be in lowercase, whereas your password should
be typed as shown on the documentation you've received.

starts with a tw
- Click Connect
